Rathfarnham Golf Club, founded in 1899, is set in the rolling foothills of the Dublin Mountains. The course offers challenging yet fair golf to members, visitors, and societies. With a beautifully appointed clubhouse, views over the course, mountains, and the city, and within easy reach of the M50, Rathfarnham Golf Club provides a relaxing and friendly environment in which to enjoy your golf .  The club continues to invest heavily in the course, state-of-the-art machinery, and the greenkeeping team. Rathfarnham Golf Club has a clear ambition to be a premium Dublin golf course.
Rathfarnham Golf Club is thrilled to offer an opportunity to join our dedicated greenkeeping team. We are currently hiring for a full-time, permanent Senior Greenkeeper role, with an immediate start.
In this role, you will work closely with our Course Superintendent and greenkeeping team, contributing to a range of tasks across the golf course. This position requires a well-rounded skill set for various course maintenance duties.

Ideal Candidate Attributes and Qualifications: 

1. A valid driver’s license. Strong motivation and a positive outlook. 
2. Ideally, 2-3 years of experience in a similar position. However, we welcome applications from newly qualified or seasoned individuals.
3. Qualifications in Sportsturf Management, Agronomy, Horticulture or a related field are preferred.
4. Spraying qualifications, including PA1, PA2, and PA6 is an advantage.
5. Chainsaw/ Pole-saw qualifications is also an advantage.
6. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and Bank- holidays as required.
7. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
8. Ability to work as part of a team and take direction.
9. Good communication skills and attention to detail
