Mission Statement
We are committed to the promotion of Turfgrass Sports in
Ireland, the advancement of our members
and the protection of the environment of the sports facilities
which we represent.
The
Association Of Turfgrass Professionals Ireland
is the Professional Association for the men and women who manage and
maintain our sports most valuable asset- our courses and grounds.
ATPI
and its members are recognized by the sporting industry as one of
the key contributors in elevating the Turfgrass Sports and business
to it’s current level.
Through education and training
ATPI
is dedicated to the continuing Professional development of it’s
members.
Started the 24th November 2015 for the first time in Irish
Sportsturf Management, members are eligible for Continuing
Professional Development Credits as part of the GCSAI /ATPI CPD
Programme.
Through Education and CPD, ATPI is committed to insure our
profession grows and strengthens.
Formally GCSAI (Golf Course Superintendents Association Of Ireland),
the association was founded on 1996. The association changed name in
2021 to
Association Of Turfgrass Professionals Ireland
(ATPI).
