Colin began his amenity career as an assistant greenkeeper in the late 1980’s, gaining industry qualifications and progressing to the role of head greenkeeper.  At the age of 30 he decided to leave his job to pursue further qualifications and became a mature student, achieving graduate and post graduate qualifications in the amenity and sports turf sector.

Colin is currently the technical support manager for Bayer.  With wide-ranging experience and qualifications, Colin has a role that’s largely focussed on advising industry professionals with general management, best practice advice and he’s the first port of call if there’s a weed, disease, or insect problem.
