Delegates attending our ATPI Tradeshow & Conference 2024 event are entitled to a 40% discount per hour parking. To to avail of this discount, you must present their ticket to reception.

Hotel residents enjoy a special parking rate of €10 per car per night in the underground Car Park, subject to availability.

Height Restrictions are 1.9m for the hotel Car Park. If your vehicle is over this height we recommend the Open Car Parking facilities near the docks.

Key Speakers

Ed Nangle joined Ohio State ATI faculty as an assistant professor in the turfgrass program in 2016. Prior to Ohio State ATI, Nangle served as director of turfgrass programs for the Chicago District Golf Association, where, among other duties, he was responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting turfgrass issues at 392 golf courses and teaching the online Great Lakes Turf School. Nangle also served as the marketing coordinator for the Global Turf Network where he was involved in data analysis, including the development of integrated pest management strategies. He has a wide range of experience gained at golf clubs in Australia, Ireland, and England as well as the U.S. He earned a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University, where he taught a number of undergraduate courses in turfgrass and ornamental landscape plants. Nangle has also been a frequent speaker at the Ohio Turfgrass Conference in his area of research: plant health and environmental physiology.

Dr. Michael (“Mike”) Fidanza is a Professor of Plant and Soil Science at the Pennsylvania State University in Reading, PA. He teaches courses in turfgrass science, plant biology, and soil science. He conducts turfgrass research on disease management, biostimulants, soil surfactants, and ecology. He is a Fellow in the American Society of Agronomy. He is also the Editor of a new textbook: Achieving Sustainable Turfgrass Management (Burleigh Dodds Science Publishing).

Dr. John L. Cisar Retired Professor of Turfgrass Management and Water, University of Florida, Ft. Lauderdale Research and Education Center and currently a private agronomic consultant. Dr. Cisar’s research has identified optimal agronomic practices to provide superior performing sports turf systems with reduced inputs of nutrients, water and pesticides applied and improved the sustainability of turfgrass systems. In 2008, he was appointed affiliate faculty status in the Soil and Water Sciences Department, University of Florida. In 2009, Dr. Cisar was elected Fellow of the Crop Science Society of America. In 2011, Dr. Cisar was recognized by the Florida Golf Course Superintendent’s Association with the β€œFGCSA Lifetime Service Award” the highest award offered by FGCSA.

Anthony Quinn I graduated from the Technological University Dublin in 2019 with a Degree in Horticultural Science & Sportsturf Management. Over the last few years I have held various roles in sportsturf management including, greenkeeper in Slade Valley golf club, grow in manager for the Buckingham group, Head Groundsman at AFC Wimbledon and now my current role as Stadium Grounds Manager for Fulham Football Club. A proud Dub!!!!
